Day 1-Bangalore

Day 2- Bangalore

9.30 Am After B/fast proceed for the sightseeing tour of Bangalore. Bull Temple; enshrining a massive bull carved out of a single piece of Grey granite, Lalbagh Gardens; laid out by Haider Ali in the 18th century, Cubbon Park; laid out by the British in the 19th century and Vidhan Soudha; built in granite, which incorporates features of traditional Indian architecture. Overnight at Hotel in Bangalore.

 

Day 3.

10.00 Am after B/fast check out from the hotel and drive to Mysore (140 Km 3.5 Hrs) / Check in at Hotel/ free at leisure at the Hotel / Over night stay at Hotel.

 

Day 4.

9.30 Am After B/fast proceed for the sightseeing tour of Mysore. This includes the Maharaja’s Palace, built as recently as 1897; it is one of the biggest in India. Also, there is St Philomena’s Church, Sri Jauyachamarajendra Art Gallery housed in the Jagmohan Palace, which has a collection of exquisite paintings and Brindavan Gardens, Later visit Chamundi Hill, on top of which stands a temple dedicated to the Goddess Chamundeshwari, the royal family’s patron deity/ Over night stay at Hotel.

 

Day 5.

10.00 Am after B/fast check out from the hotel and drive to Ooty. (160 Km 4.3 Hrs) / Check in at hotel / Free at leisure at the Hotel / Over night stay at Hotel.

 

Day 6.

9.30 Am After B/fast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Ooty and its surroundings. Visit The Botanical Garden, which is an ideal tourist spot besides being a source of information about the region’s flora. Also visit the Ooty Lake. In addition, there are various other sites like Dodabetta Peak that offer fascinating views of the surrounding plains and hills /Overnight at Hotel in Ooty.

 

Day 7.

9.00 Am after B/fast check out from the hotel and drive to Kochi (300 Km 8 Hrs) / Check in at hotel / Free at leisure at the Hotel / Over night stay at Hotel.

 

Day 8.

9.30 Am After B/fast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Cochin. This includes Fort Cochin, The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry, which is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana and The Jewish Synagogue at the heart of a town locally known as the Jew Town. Cochin also boasts of The St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India and The Santa Cruz Basilica, which was originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. Another tourist attraction is the Chinese fishing nets which are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have been brought by Chinese traders to Cochin. Overnight stay at Hotel in Cochin.

 

Day 9.

10.00 am check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (65 Km 2 Hrs) /Check in to the Houseboat / Back water Cruise to See some of the most spectacular backwater scenery. View Village life, Houseboat manufacturing Yard, Paddy fields, Old churches etc etc. / Overnight stay in the Houseboat.

 

Day 10.

9.00 am after B/fast, check out from the House boat and drive to Thekkady (Periyar) (135 Km 3.5 Hrs) / Check in to the Resort / Activities of your choice / Spices garden visit / Kumily town visit/ Spices shopping/ Over night stay at Hotel.

 

Day 11.

Periyar is one of India’s picturesque reserves. The sanctuary is set around the artificial lake formed by damming the Periyar river, led to the submersion of a large forest area and the formation of 55 sq. km lake. The most enjoyable part of seeing the wildlife is going around the lake in a boat./ Boat cruises on the Periyar Lake, Elephant rides, Trekking (All are optional with extra cost)/ Over night stay in the hotel.

 

Day 12.

10.00 am check out from the hotel and drive to Madurai. (135 Km 3 Hrs)/ Check in at Hotel/ free at leisure at the Hotel / Over night stay at Hotel.

 

Day 13.

9.30 Am After B/fast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Madurai. Visit the great Meenakshi Temple, dedicated to the Consort of Lord Shiva, with its ten towering gopurams (temple towers) rising above the surrounding courtyards and countryside of lush green fields of rice and coconut palms. See the “Hall of a Thousand Pillars”, built in 1560, which is a great work of structural engineering and art. Each pillar is a picture book in stone, depicting the whole range of human expression. Later, visit the Tirumalai Nayak Palace, a gracious building in the Indo-Saracenic style that is famous for the stuccowork on its domes and arches. Evening visit temple for the second time to attend temple ceremony. Overnight at Hotel in Madurai.

 

Day 14.

9.30 Am After B/fast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Madurai such as Thirumalai Naickar Mahal, Mariamman Tank and Gandhi Museum/ Overnight at Hotel in Madurai.

 

Day 15.

Transfer to Madurai Airport / Farewell to our guests with souvenirs.

ITINERARY- GOLDEN TRIANGLE

Delhi, Jaipur ,Agra

 

Itinerary for 6 days and 5 nights.

 

Day 1- Arrive Delhi

Arrive New Delhi airport and meet our representative / transfer to hotel & relax. Overnight in Hotel at Delhi.

 

Day 2- Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast leave for guided sightseeing of Old & new Delhi.

In Old Delhi visit the famous Jama Mosque, the main & largest mosque of India. Later enjoy a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk (Silver Market) to reach Red Fort, built in the year 1648 by Shah Jahan.

In New Delhi, visit World Heritage Site, Humayun’s Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the tallest (72.5 m) brick minaret in the world. Later enjoy the visit India Gate, famous monument built in memory of soldiers who died in 1st & 2nd World War, Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House), Parliament House & famous Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh temple). Overnight in Hotel at Delhi.

(Note: Red Fort is Closed on Monday)

 

Day 3- Delhi – Jaipur (250 Km / about 5 hrs drive)

After Breakfast drive to Jaipur. Jaipur is also Known as Pink City because many buildings are still washed in Pink, the traditional color of welcome. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. In the evening time visit colorful market of Jaipur & see paintings & other souvenirs for your family and relatives. Overnight in Hotel at Jaipur.

 

Day 4- Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast enjoy the sightseeing of Jaipur including the 16th century’s Amber fort with elephant ride, after that visit the Magnificent City Palace (Royal Museum) built in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Singh. The Palace complex consist an excellent museum, an armoury, sprawling gardens, buildings and several fine halls, Jantar Mantar (the Astronomical Observatory) & Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Overnight in Hotel at Jaipur.

 

Day 5- Jaipur – Agra (240 Km / about 6 hrs drive)

After breakfast, straight drive to Agra, beautifully situated on the banks of river Yamuna. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Later visit World’s Heritage Agra Fort built in Red Sandstone. Overnight in Hotel at Agra.

 

Day 6- Agra-Delhi (205 Km, about 4 hours)

Early morning visit the India’s most celebrated monuments Taj Mahal in Sunrise built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. Later back to hotel for breakfast & after that straight drive to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, transfer to Airport to board your return flight. Note: (Taj Mahal is closed on Friday)

ITINERARY- BANGALORE MYSORE OOTY

Day 1- Bangalore
Arrival Bangalore airport/railway station. Then proceed to the hotel. Bangalore is the capital city of Karnataka state it is well known as Garden city. Afternoon proceed for a half day city tour of Bangalore visit Lab bagh, Cubbon park, Iskon Srikrishna Temple, Vidhan soudha and finally at Commercial Street for a bit of shopping. By evening return back to hotel and over night stay at Bangalore.

 

Day 2- Bangalore – Mysore
After breakfast proceed to Mysore on the way visit Srirangapatana which was the capital of King Hyder Ali and his son Tippu Sultan. By noon at Mysore. Check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Mysore Palace it is one of the major attractions of Mysore. Then to Mysore Zoo were you can see some of the rare species of wildlife evening proceed to world famous Brindavan garden expended over 150 acres. The musical fountain and light show adds attraction to the garden. Then return back to the hotel and over night stay at Hotel.

 

Day 3- Mysore – Ooty
After breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Ooty on the way visit Madumalai forest and Bandipur forest. Check in at the hotel as you arrive in Ooty. Evening free for shopping and other activities and over night stay at Ooty.

 

Day 4- Ooty
After breakfast proceed for a site seeing tour of Ooty. Visit the Doddabeta Peak which is the highest peak of Ooty. From here you will get a very panoramic view of the neighboring regions. By noon back at Ooty town. Afternoon visit the famous Botanical garden built in 1847 and the Ooty Lake were boating facility is available. Horse-back riding around the lake also is available. Evening free for shopping and other activities . Overnight at Ooty.

 

Day 5 – Ooty – Bangalore
Morning after breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Bangalore. Arrive at Bangalore airport/railway station for onward journey.
